Team Building Briefing

OVERVIEW

We have created a team building experience specifically for your group and your location. It will be a fun team-based competition that will bring you closer together and get you to explore the area. In this briefing we have provided some important information to help you prepare for the event. You can also contact our HQ at anytime 24/7 via email at HQ@TeamBuildingAnywhere.com.


DOWNLOAD THE EVENT APP

Please download the Bonfyre app if you have an Apple or Android device by clicking on one of the buttons below. This will enable you to engage with other participants and be an active part of the experience. It will also provide a direct line of communication between your team and our HQ during the event.

When creating your Bonfyre account, please use the same email address that the briefing email was sent to. Please be aware that once you register a verification email will be sent to your email address. That email can sometimes take a while to arrive depending on your firewall settings, so check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox. Leading up to your event you can log in and find two separate group chats added to your account. One for all teams in the event, and a private one for only your team members. Join both and start corresponding with our HQ and your other team members.


WHAT TO EXPECT

Leading Up To Event:

The days leading up to the start are a great time to engage with other group members within the app. We encourage you to wear comfortable attire and sneakers, if it is appropriate for your other group activities planned for that day. You may be participating in activities that are slightly active, traveling across a variety of surfaces, and could end up getting slightly sweaty/dirty/wet depending on the weather and the challenges your team chooses to attempt.

The Event:

Right at the designated start time of 3pm our HQ will start the event through the Bonfyre app. Every team will receive the same list of challenges to complete around the Gaslamp area. The challenges are designed to bring you together through fun, meaningful, difficult, or slightly embarrassing experiences. Complete as many as possible, in any order, up until 5:00pm.

Some challenges may require a few basic supplies to complete them. Figuring out how to obtain these supplies somewhere in the area is part of the strategy so work together to figure it out.

After each challenge, submit the required picture or video to our HQ via the app for verification.

After The Event:

Right at 5:00pm the scavenger hunt portion of the event will end. Our HQ will have the full results of the event within a few minutes of the finish. Depending on what your group’s contact person has specified, we will either announce the team standings shortly after the finish within the mobile app, or we will provide that contact person with the results so that they can announce them in their preferred manner. Feel free to continue using the app to engage with other group members and posting pictures and videos from some of your favorite moments.


BRAGGING RIGHTS

In addition to the incredible experiences you and your team will have, there are also some great awards that you can win throughout the event!

1st Place Team: The winning team is the group that completes the most challenges in the shortest amount of time between 3:00pm and 5:00pm on race day.

Best Photo or Video Award: Every picture or video you submit to our HQ throughout the event will be entered into this contest. At the end of the event our HQ will select one submission that stands above the rest. There’s no specific criteria to become the “best” so do something amazing, inspire us, make us cry, or make us laugh! The more challenges you complete, the more entries you will have!
