Coach Jim Calhoun is best known for his tenure as head coach of the University of Connecticut men's basketball team. His teams won three NCAA national championships and seven Big East tournament championships. He became the oldest coach to win a Division I men's basketball title and finished his career with 873 victories. Calhoun is one of only six coaches in NCAA Division I history to win three or more championships. He is widely considered one of the greatest coaches of all time and in 2005 was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
